1st Shift Assembler - Fast Start!!Job DescriptionAs an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision. In this role you will be building out insulation panels for walk in freezers. You can use a variety of different tools such as nail guns, saws, impacts, etc. This is a 1st shift: 5am-1:45pm. Long term opportunity that is contract to hire.Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials. Wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagram. Inspect products to ensure they conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements. Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools. Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available. Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and components. Complete and maintain all associated electronic process paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping materials. Maintain departmental housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards. Complete additional tasks and projects as needed by the department. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read a measuring tape. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
