Warehouse Associate/Forklift Fri-Sun Night Shift

Job Full Description Pay Rate: $21.50 Shift: Fri - Sun 6pm - 6:30am Location: Pittston Position Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating material-handling equipment to support daily warehouse operations within a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, picking, and shipment of customer products while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area. Key Responsibilities: Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are handled with care and placed in the correct storage locations. Pick, pull, and stage orders accurately according to customer requirements and warehouse procedures. Perform inventory moves, replenishments, cycle counts, and stock rotation as directed. Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately. Maintain a clean, organized working area and follow all 5S and safety guidelines. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan, track, and verify product movement. Support other warehouse functions as needed, including manual picking, labeling, wrapping pallets, or general labor tasks. Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet customer expectations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification upon hire). 1-2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment strongly preferred. Ability to operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up reach truck, order picker). Basic understanding of warehouse operations and WMS systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time position; overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and constant equipment movement.
