About the job Warehouse Material Handler Warehouse Material Handler needs 3+ years experience Warehouse Material Handler requires: Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed. Tasks may require handling hazardous materials following safety procedures. Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges. Ability to use Computer tools (desktop, MS Office) and electronic tools (Scan guns and tablets). Ability to pick-up / move up to 50-pound containers Certified to operate assigned powered industrial trucks or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment start. Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, OSHA and EPA. Demonstrated solid judgment and initiative. Ability to use technology tools such as Scan guns, tablets and laptops strongly preferred. Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexible and willing to work overtime.. Previous experience with materials handling and inventory management systems. Previous warehouse/logistics experience in a cGMP environment. Warehouse Material Handler duties: Move materials manually using material handling equipment within the Concord site following the directions of Warehouse supervisor or lead. Follow all safety requirements and procedures. Routinely inspects area for health and safety issues. Maintain a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE corporate and site goals. Perform manual material transfer (pallet to pallet transfer) as assigned by the supervisor and following the relevant SOPs. Follow all cGMP, and other regulatory requirements. Participate in quality initiatives and audits. Compliance to FDA, EMEA, DEA, OSHA, IDEM, EPA and other applicable regulations. Maintain learning plan at 100% current. Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities. Perform transactions in SAP if required using RF guns.
