Job Title: Distribution Associate - QIC Location: Rochester, NY Job Summary: NESCO Resource is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Associate - QIC to support warehouse and inventory control operations. This role is responsible for performing inventory searches, restocking, product put-away, and cycle counting while maintaining accuracy and adherence to FIFO requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with RF scanning and warehouse management systems. Shift & Pay Shift(s): 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Mon. - Fri. 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sun. - Thurs. Pay Rate: $18.00/Hour (+ 15% Shift Diff. = $20.70/Hour) Key Responsibilities Perform inventory searches utilizing the warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanning equipment. Organize and maintain picking locations to ensure product availability and FIFO compliance. Complete product restocking and put-away tasks accurately and efficiently. Retrieve products to resolve customer order shortages. Sort product in preparation for put-away. Conduct product location checks to ensure inventory accuracy. Participate in monthly cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed. Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements. Immediately report safety, sanitation, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to leadership. Maintain attendance standards, including working scheduled holidays and extended hours as business needs dictate. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: Warehouse or receiving experience preferred. Basic math skills required for inventory and cycle counting activities. PC proficiency required; experience with warehouse management systems preferred. Forklift and/or man-up equipment experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety policies. Dependable with strong organizational skills. Physical Demands Frequently stand (> 75%) and walk (50-75%) throughout the shift. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and pushing/pulling (30 lbs force). Lift up to 25 lbs regularly (25-50% of shift). Occasional climbing of stairs and overhead reaching. Operate man-up equipment as required. Work in warehouse conditions including loud (> 75%), dusty (> 75%), and hot/humid (50-75%) environments. Exposure to moving mechanical parts; adherence to PPE requirements is mandatory.
