Job DescriptionPosition Title: Assembly / Packer Wage: $18.00 - $19.50/hour QPS Employment Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Packer to join our customer in Des Plaines, IL. This role involves rapid hand assembly of plastic components while inspecting parts for defects to ensure consistent quality. The work environment is high-volume and production-driven, similar to line or piece-rate assembly. Apply today! Assembly / Packer Responsibilities: - Perform rapid hand assembly of plastic components according to work instructions - Inspect parts for burring, flashing, cracks, blemishes, and other imperfections - Remove defective parts and follow quality control standards - Maintain consistent production speed while ensuring accuracy and quality - Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times - Keep work area clean, organized, and efficient - Meet productivity and quality targets on a continuous basis - Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals Requirements for Assembly / Packer: - Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production is preferred but not required - Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail - Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Ability to recognize defects and imperfections in small plastic parts - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions - Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required - Ability to stand for long periods - Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
