Essen has won awards for its patient care innovations and recently launched Intention Health Ventures to develop and commercialize our technology innovations.Job summary: Department of Behavioral Health at Essen has immediate opening for Full time Administrator for Outpatient, Nursing home and House call Operations. Opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary team at Essen. All sites have strong participation with Essen Health home care coordination, with potential innovative pilot projects.Essen’s Leadership team is in process of expanding Behavioral Health Service line with a vision to Integrate Behavioral Health into all the faucets of Essen Health care: Office division, Nursing homes, Care Coordination and House calls. In order to achieve this, we would be building and implementingsome pilot/novel customized behavioral health projects, based on scientific literature, to cater to different services. All these projects will be patient centric, cost effective, fully regulated and scalable.The Administrator dept will be leading the expansions and implementing the vision of the Chief Behavioral Health Officer. He/She would be responsible for the operational oversight and to collaborate with other disciplines for the smooth running of the departmental activities. Designated Operations Leader for Behavioral Health Department at EssenResponsible for patient population and assigned staffPlans, organizes and coordinates, and evaluates behavioral health departmental activitiesProvides direct support and guidance to the staff in their development manageriallyDirectly Reports to CEO, COO and CBHO and works under their supervisionThe BH Administrator will ensure success of the BH operations through quality enhancement,cost containment, revenue growth and development of strong relationships with staff, boardmembers and leaders across other departments.Responsible for integration of BH services across office, Nursing home and House calls.Builds relationships with social workers, and providersIdentifies the recruitment need and works with HR to hire more providers and expand thedepartmentOverseeing the Onboarding of the new employee in the departmentCoordinating with IT, ECW, credentialing and complianceMaintaining weekly Key productivity indicators and presenting to leadershipAttending weekly meetings with CBHO and CEOPerforming Continuous quality improvement projects - to identify and improve potential areasMarketing and promoting Behavioral Health services within and outside the Essen.Supervising the department manager in daily operations activities.Responsible for working with Chief Behavioral Health Officer to develop new policies andprocedures to provide the best clinical performanceEstablishing all staff complies with NY state and federal laws and documentationDeveloping clinical staff and creating training programs to help facilitate ongoing clinicaleducationInvolved in director supervision for social workers and providers and development of employee’scaseloadFollowing up with providers about supervision and working closely with medical staffprofessionalsReviewing notes and developing plans to help navigate patients through clinical process for socialworkersUsing data to create and monitor systemsWorking with Human Resources on recruitment and retention of employeesWill work closely with administration to figure out operational issues and how we can be mostefficient in providing an overall growth plan by leading the behavioral departmentMaster’s degree in health care administration such as MPH, MPA, MHA, MBALicensed Clinical Social Worker with 5+ Years of Behavioral Health AdministrationAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFollows office procedures about HIPAA documents and adheres to HIPAA privacy mandates; adheres to confidentiality policy; demonstrates infection control compliance relevant to job responsibilities: e.g. standard precautionsSalary: $80,000-$100,000Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
