Must have assembly experience that in NOT on an assembly line and power tool experienceHours: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7 am- 330pm Pay: 20.00/hour Primary duties of the Mechanical Assembler include:Previous knowledge, experience or interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc. Ability to learn the assembly of a variety of metal products. NOT on an assembly line. 2-3 yrs. knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and accurately interpret prints +/or schematics. Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools, including rivet guns. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs.) Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push duringthe course of a shift. High attention to detail & fine tactical ability. Pallet jack experience. Cross-training on finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc. Requirements of the Mechanical Assembler include:Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc. Job Shop experience. Physical demands: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Stooping, Sitting, Walking, and Reaching overhead. Manufacturing experience in a Job Shop environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Forklift / Pallet jack experience. Experience in application of the following: Silicone + Butyl Sealants; Gasket.
