This position is for a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) in an 8-hour day shift with no weekends. Infectious Disease experience is preferred and a MN and WI license is required. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation, quality of practice, education, professional practice evaluation, collegiality, collaboration, ethics, research, resource utilization, leadership, environmental health, charge nurse duties, and preceptor duties. Other duties as assigned may also be part of the role. Required qualifications include an associate's or vocational degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing, 0 to 2 years of RN experience. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 0 to 2 years of specialty experience. Licenses/certifications required include a licensed registered nurse in MN and WI, BLS Tier 1, ACLS-BLS Tier 2, and possibly others depending on the department. Physical demands include medium work with lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently. Pay range is $40.08 to $54.93 per hour.
