Forklift Operator

Job DescriptionJob Title: Forklift Operator Location: Burlington, NC Shift: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM Pay: $18.00/hour Summary: Individual is responsible to operate Combi lift forklift, lulls, and overhead cranes to move metal and raw material and finished product throughout the facility. Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Sort and stage materials into designated zones for production and shipping. Safely operate heavy equipment while following OSHA and company safety standards. Perform basic inspections and preventative maintenance checks on equipment before use. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. Assist with additional material handling or production support tasks as needed. Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Follow instructions and complete tasks to specification Stand, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs. as required Maintain focus and accuracy under pressure Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
