Job Full Description 1st Shift - Packer Responsibilities: Join our team at the Tool Distribution Warehouse in Lenexa, KS, as a Warehouse Worker. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining warehouse operations, handling shipping and receiving tasks, managing product storage, and setting up deliveries. Location: Lenexa, KS Pay: $760 per week ($19 per hour, 40 hours per week) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Job Duties: Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain compliance with health and safety standards as per company policy. Order Preparation: Process customer requests by accurately pulling materials and placing them in the designated area for customer pickup or delivery. Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks as necessary to facilitate order fulfillment. Inventory Controls: Minimize material damage and ensure order accuracy through effective inventory control. Warehouse Organization: Organize the warehouse, manage bin locations, and maintain high standards of organization. Customer Service: Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service. Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for most of the shift, wear protective gear, and steel-toed boots. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that warehouse equipment is maintained according to company operating standards. Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to think independently and solve problems. Other Competencies: Self-Management: Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and be proactive. Communication Skills: Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers and customers. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma preferred. 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred. Physical Demands: Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Lift up to 50 lbs. Wear protective gear and steel-toed boots. Move about inside the warehouse frequently. Operate warehouse machinery. Mental Demands: Problem-solving and task prioritization. Manage stress depending on tasks. Multitask and receive information. Quickly communicate solutions if problems occur. Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment.
