The Warehouse Receiving Specialist plays a vital role in managing incoming and returned products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that products are in excellent condition for resale and efficiently controlling the flow of goods at the dock. What we offer: Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Start Time: Between 3:00 am and 4:00 am Production-based shifts: Leave early once production goals are met Generous benefits beginning on your 60th day, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance. Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Receiving Specialist include: Inspecting incoming products from various carriers. Documenting overages, shortages, damages, expiration dates, temperature of products, trailer conditions, and signs of tampering or pest issues. Directing outside carriers on product sorting and segregation. Adhering to McLane Company standards to maintain product integrity. Printing pallet labels, entering purchase orders into the system, and assigning doors. Providing support to Receiving Clerks when necessary. Following safety and work protocols diligently. Consistently meeting production standards. Maintaining high-quality work to minimize mispicks, shortages, and damages. Working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Becoming trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days of hire. Complying with attendance policies. Maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs, including early shifts, late stays, and weekend work as necessary. Working in temperature extremes, from 38°F to 110°F. Engaging in continuous physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Willingness to select, load, unload, and deliver all products ordered by customers. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. What you bring to the team: Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in receiving is a plus. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks and ensure workplace safety.
