Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare (MLH) is seeking a strategic and visionary Service Line Director of Neuro Acute & Critical Care to join our leadership team in Memphis, TN. As the Service Line Director, you will be accountable for the operations of our specialized units, driving clinical excellence and fiscal stewardship while shaping the strategic direction of neuro-critical care. You will play a pivotal role in physician alignment and associate development, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in our Professional Governance structure. As the RN Service Line Director, you will be accountable for the operations of our specialized units, driving clinical excellence and fiscal stewardship while shaping the strategic direction of neuro-critical care. Responsibilities Ability to think strategically and translate organizational goals into actionable plans for the Neuro and Stroke service lines. Strong clinical knowledge and leadership expertise in the care of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Stroke patient populations. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (such as TJC or DNV) and their application within a high-volume academic or regional medical center. Proficient in using data and analytics to interpret reports, identify trends, and develop evidence-based solutions to drive clinical and operational excellence. Proven ability to manage complex change initiatives to meet quality, safety, and patient experience objectives. Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills; adept at presenting to key stakeholders and influencing at all levels—from frontline associates to executive leadership and physicians. Strong skill in negotiating and building alignment between multidisciplinary teams, specifically fostering strong working relationships with neurologists and neurosurgeons. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor diverse teams toward the accomplishment of organizational mission and "Power of One" values. Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing 7-9 years of leadership experience Current BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association Clinical expertise in the care of neuro patients Strong collaborative, facilitation, and influence skills Ability to think strategically and lead teams effectively Knowledge of regulatory requirements in academic medical centers Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
