If you are seeking a relaxed, low-pressure environment in a modern updated office, and love to make a difference in the lives of others through dentistry, then you are encouraged to apply!ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortableDiscuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they havePerform preliminary exams and collect oral health historiesEvaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infectionPerform dental hygiene services including plaque removal dental prophylaxis, fluoride, sealants, scaling and root planningTeach good oral hygiene techniquesTake x-raysMaintain patient confidentialityAssist dentist during procedures and exams as neededAdhere to all health and safety regulations and office policiesProvide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standardsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of dental hygieneCurrent Dental Hygienist licensureAt least 2-3 years of experience in dental hygieneCurrent CPR certification (re-certification provided)Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelinesAbility to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environmentExcellent communication and customer service skills
