Dental Hygienist Opportunity - Bloomington IN This opportunity offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time options available, along with a supportive team environment and a balanced four-day work week. Schedule 4-day work week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Closed Mondays Designated 1-hour lunch 1-hour recall appointments / 1.5-hour new patient appointments Compensation & Benefits $50-$55 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees Scrub allowance CE and license reimbursement New graduates welcome to apply Key Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, removing deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins Conduct oral cancer screenings and comprehensive periodontal assessments Expose and develop radiographs Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies (maintain CPR certification and emergency protocols) Provide patient education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care Accurately document medical histories, vital signs, and treatment in patient records Maintain dental equipment and operatory readiness Monitor and manage dental supply inventory Stay current with continuing education and professional development Requirements Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license CPR certification Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred (not required) If you're looking for a collaborative, patient-centered practice that values quality care and work-life balance, we'd love to connect with you.
