JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Quincy, IL • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: June 1, 2026 Ongoing (6-month assignment) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)COVERAGE DATES • June 1, 2026 OngoingPATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Neonates excluded, Infants (low acuity), Pediatrics (low acuity), Adults, Geriatrics • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 60 cases per day across facilities • Admissions: Yes • Case Mix: Orthopedics, Low Acuity Pediatrics, Trauma, Neuro, Plastics, OB, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy, Urology (No transplants, no cardiac cases)FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 140 hospital beds, 9 surgery rooms • Trauma Level: Level II • EMR System: Allscripts (transitioning to Epic in 2026) • Office Equipment Available: Full anesthesia and surgical support equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Physicians perform blocks and cardiac cases • Support Staff Available: MD supervision (1:3 ratio), Anesthesia Techs, Nursing Staff • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental CoveragePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 6 8 weeks (additional time if licensing required)COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredREQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia administration • Regional anesthesia support (physicians perform blocks) • Airway management • Intraoperative monitoring and patient stabilizationJOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active IL license or willingness to obtain • Board: NBCRNA required • Experience: Open to new graduates; experience preferred • Other Qualifications: Ability to work within a care team model and flexible case coverageDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services across hospital and surgery center settings • Collaborate within a care team model with supervising physicians • Manage anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical cases • Ensure accurate and timely documentation • Adhere to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
