Assembly Technician

Our client, a longstanding U.S. manufacturer of precision presses, die sets, and tooling, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production and assembly department supporting mechanical, electrical, and precision tooling builds. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detailoriented, and able to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively. Job Title: Assembly Technician - 1st Shift Location: Janesville, WI Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience What's the Job? Assemble standard mechanical and electrical products following blueprints and bills of materials Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics Build electrical panels from schematics Pull parts from BOMs and assemble components into standard products Wire simple electrical circuits What's Needed? 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly Ability to read electrical & pneumatic schematics Mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask Strong organizational and communication skills; basic computer skills Knowledge of machining processes or ability to use lathes/machining centers (helpful but not required) What's in it for me?
