Coverage Needed Start Date: 04/20/2026 End Date: 10/24/2026 Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Clinical Details Under the direction of a Psychiatrist, provide psychiatric nursing and mental health care for inmates/residents Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders Offer individual and group therapy Prescribe and monitor medications Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress Assist in developing individualized treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals Provide crisis intervention when needed Call: Accept on-call status Requirements Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Current board certification as a PMHNP by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurse Credentialing Center Active, unrestricted DEA or eligible to obtain Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders Good oral and written communication skills Knowledge of correctional custody methods and techniques US Citizenship required for ICE clearance Must be at least board eligible to qualify for privileges English proficiency: Speak, Read, Write Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting Preferred: A valid driver's license by Jobble
