What You'll Do As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving the highest possible quality of life. You will promote their safety, well-being, independence, and personal goals while serving as their advocate. Essential Responsibilities Follow and support daily routines according to each client's Individual Program Plan (IPP) Participate in developing and supporting IPP/ISP goals Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe living environment Facilitate social, recreational, and community activities Assist with personal care (grooming, toileting, dressing, hygiene) Prepare meals and assist with clean-up Transport clients using company vehicles as needed Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators Perform other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience Preferred: experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs DSP Certificate (Year 1 & 2) and CPI training Preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire First Aid/CPR Preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days Must be at least 21 years old Valid California Driver's License Must pass all pre-employment screenings Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Remote Work: No - this is an in-person role.Ready to Apply?
