Facility: This established medical center provides comprehensive psychiatric services with a dedicated 22-bed department focusing on mental health care. The facility is equipped to handle various psychiatric conditions and offers a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare providers. Opportunity: Physician - Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychiatry Job Details: • Must be Massachusetts licensed - this is a mandatory requirement • Child Adolescent Board Certification required • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required • Manage 10-12 patient encounters per shift in a 22-bed department • Work in an acute psychiatric unit/institute setting • Provide care across various clinical areas including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders • Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred • Utilize various treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT • Must maintain active Massachusetts medical license • Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days • Start date: March 11, 2026 with ongoing assignment opportunity Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
