The Staff Management | SMX team in Seattle, WA, is now hiring full-time Air Logistics Warehouse Associates. This role is an essential part of our client's operation at WFS Express. Great pay and potential for a permanent position! Must be able to work weekends. Employment Types: Temp to Hire. Pay Rate: $23.17 / hour Duties: Load and unload Express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area. Sorting, scanning, and movement of small packages within the warehouse. Build up / Breakdown package containers ready for outbound/inbound flights. Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts) Report on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards. Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies. Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes. Position Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required One year of experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Ability to read, write, and understand the English language Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without the assistance of sight or visual aids Requirements: Background Check Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Able to Lift 50 pounds. The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $23.17 - $23.17 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
