Required Skills: Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Valid medical license in Texas or eligible for licensure Previous inpatient obstetric experience Strong clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with high-risk pregnancies Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency BLS and ACLS certifications Familiarity with inpatient obstetric protocols Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of obstetric practice, including hospital-based delivery coverage Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous but not mandatory Other Requirements: Must have or be eligible for Texas medical licensure Certifications in BLS and ACLS Availability to start on 12/31/2025 Willingness to commit to scheduled shifts and adhere to hospital protocols Travel and licensure reimbursement available when applicable Compensation for this role is $195.00 per hour.
