Forklift Operator

Material Handler We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in a dynamic and challenging work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply and transportation of materials within the production area, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures. Responsibilities Supply all raw materials for production and replenish supplies from the warehouse when inventory is low. Transport finished goods and scrap material into staging area and move material within the plant and worksite. Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor, and others using two-way radio, and other methods as appropriate. Fill out pick sheets, and initial that product is issued. Perform cycle counting in an accurate and timely manner. Efficiently and safely unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment. Receive, unpack, and verify all incoming materials according to established company procedures. Prepare an accurate sample of all required chemicals received using methods appropriate to the specific chemical and convey to lab for quality control. Refer to company work instructions and SOPs to ensure quality samples are procured. Maintain an accurate log of all items received in the ERP system. Operate sit-down and standup forklifts to move product and material. Essential Skills Ability to stand, bend, kneel, twist, and lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day without restrictions. Ability to perform basic measurements. 6+ months warehouse/material handling/shipping experience. Ability to read and comprehend English documents and work orders. Comfortable training and operating a sitdown and standup forklift. Comfortable working around chemicals, fumes, and materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is a big plus. Material handling experience. Inventory control and ERP system experience. Hazardous material handling experience is a big plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
