Warehouse Associate We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in packaging mechanical fixtures used for control panels, as well as handling various warehouse tasks. Responsibilities Pull material and deliver completed job kits to appropriate locations on the production floor. Quickly respond to material requests from the production floor. Label completed assemblies and accurately report their location in the ERP system. Process, package, and ship orders accurately. Organize stocks and maintain inventory. Inspect products for defects and damages. Package products and assemblies according to established standards, work instructions, or through supervision. Accurately record received goods locations using handheld PC. Read and understand packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping and receiving instructions. Wrap and band pallets in preparation for shipment or storage. Label incoming goods, and unpack and label cartons when appropriate. Verify counts and other relevant information from packing lists and other shipping documents. Perform daily cycle counts. Replenish floor stock and Kanban bins as needed. Promptly report material shortages through the proper channels. Use pallet jack or forklifts to place/retrieve material from pallet racking. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Forklift operation. Computer competency. Material handling experience. Ability to read blueprints/schematics. Strong communication skills. Ability to prioritize workload. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years of previous general labor/warehouse experience. Must have 2+ years of packaging experience. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. An eye for detail to ensure that material transactions are accurately reported. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a large warehouse/production/manufacturing facility with individual work stations. Employees use material handling equipment to package large mechanical fixtures and control panels. The facility is designed for efficiency and safety, providing a clean and well-organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
