Locums - Rochester, New Hampshire NP/PA Nocturnist OpportunityClinical Role Join a low-volume, well-supported nocturnist position ideal for an experienced NP or PA seeking flexible night coverage with minimal admissions and strong backup support. Start Date: June 26, 2026Contract Length: 3 months Position Highlights: Night shift only (6p-6a) Light workload with low admission volume Flexible schedule: 8-10 shifts per month No procedures required Strong physician and tele-ICU support Schedule & Coverage Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 8-10 shifts per month Consistent nocturnist schedule Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Hospital ICU: Open ICU (5 beds) Patient volume: Very manageable Typical Night Includes: 0-3 medical admissions 0-3 rehab and psych consults Responsibilities Include: Managing overnight admissions Performing patient evaluations and care coordination Collaborating with supervising physician (available by phone) Coordinating with tele-ICU for higher acuity management Support & Technology Emergency Medicine physicians available for procedures Tele-ICU team manages drips and ventilators Supervising physician available for consultation Requirements NP or PA certification required Active state license required Experience in hospital medicine or nocturnist role preferred RecruitWell can arrange a phone call with you and the client to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
