Caregiver In-Home Senior Care Location: Graham, WA Pay: $20.50 $24.00 per hour (depending on experience and certification) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Are you a compassionate caregiver looking to make a real difference in your community? Senior Helpers South Tacoma is currently hiring experienced caregivers to support our growing client base in the Graham area. As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you will provide one-on-one care in the client's home, helping seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own environment while building meaningful relationships. We offer flexible scheduling, varied shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional open shifts that fit your availability. What You'll Do As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, your daily responsibilities may include: Providing meaningful conversation and companionship Assisting with daily activities such as walking, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Meal preparation and light housekeeping Supporting clients with hobbies like games, gardening, or crafts Medication reminders and updates on client well-being Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior Communicating with the care team and documenting care tasks in our caregiving app Documentation Expectations Accurate documentation is an essential part of providing safe, high-quality care. Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit, documenting the care provided, the client's condition, and any changes observed. Clear documentation helps ensure continuity of care and keeps families and the care team informed. Caregivers who take pride in thorough documentation and professional communication are highly valued on our team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent CNA or HCA certification (required) At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be 18 years or older Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobility Must pass Washington State background and exclusion checks Authorized to work in the United States Must live in or be able to commute to Graham and surrounding service areas For caregivers providing transportation: Valid driver's license Insurance meeting Washington State minimum requirements Technology & Documentation Requirements Must have a reliable cell phone Must be comfortable using caregiving apps for scheduling, clock-in/out, reviewing care plans, and documentation Must be able to write clear and accurate documentation in English Reliability is essential in this role.
