Warehouse Specialist The Warehouse Specialist I is an entry level position and is responsible for following company procedures while carrying out various warehouse duties. Key duties and responsibilities include reading a part picklist and fulfilling product from inventory location, executing product issuance and moves in ERP System, part marking per specification, operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, dollies, manual and power pallet jacks, receiving packages, materials, and supplies and verifying the quantity and quality against shipping and packing slips, inspecting products for defects and damages, entering and updating inventory levels in the system, preparing orders and ensuring they are complete, accurate, and ready for delivery, loading and unloading deliveries as needed, assisting in stocking shelves and organizing the warehouse, transporting materials throughout the factory, wrapping/unwrapping pallets, creating and labeling product per material handling requirements, performing various housekeeping tasks to ensure work areas are clean and free of safety hazards, working cooperatively with other employees to accomplish warehouse goals, and following all safety rules and regulations when completing job responsibilities. Additional duties are assigned by the Warehouse Lead. The Warehouse Specialist 2 is responsible for product movement, issuing, and kitting within the warehouse area. Key duties and responsibilities include being certified to operate and teach material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage, prioritizing individual workload and delegating tasks to warehouse specialist 1, packaging product per ATA 300 specifications, reading a part picklist and fulfilling product from inventory location, executing product issuance and moves in ERP System, part marking per specification, operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, dollies, manual and power pallet jacks, receiving packages, materials, and supplies and verifying product quantity and quality, ensuring document record retention requirements are met to support product certification, overseeing and maintaining shelf-life material, ensuring ERP system inventory level accuracy, preparing and verifying orders are complete, accurate, and ready for delivery, managing part shortage and exception list through ERP System and Excel, stocking shelves and organizing the warehouse, identifying and implementing continuous opportunity ideas, performing part capture and control activity to support engineering change incorporation, supporting and coaching warehouse specialist 1, resolving inventory and ERP system discrepancies, performing various housekeeping tasks to ensure work areas are clean and free of safety hazards, working cooperatively with other employees to accomplish warehouse goals, and following all safety rules and regulations when completing job responsibilities. Additional duties are assigned by the Warehouse Lead. The Warehouse Specialist 3 is responsible for being a part of the leadership team in the warehouse and overseeing product movement, part receiving, issuance, and kitting. Key duties and responsibilities include prioritizing, assigning, and delegating tasks to other warehouse specialists, being certified to operate and teach material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage, ensuring products are packaged per ATA 300 specifications, running action reports to generate work orders for warehouse team, overseeing and coaching warehouse specialist 2 and 1, ensuring product issuance and moves in ERP System are done properly and resolving discrepancies when discovered, receiving packages, materials, and supplies and verifying product quantity and quality, ensuring document record retention requirements are met to support product certification, ensuring warehouse supplies are ordered and replenished, overseeing dunnage and waste removal requirements, overseeing and maintaining shelf-life material, ensuring ERP system inventory level accuracy, troubleshooting and repairing warehouse equipment (scanners, printers, etc.), managing part shortage and exception list through ERP System and Excel, improving warehouse layout to increase operational efficiency, performing part capture and control activity to support engineering change incorporation, resolving inventory and ERP system discrepancies, performing various housekeeping tasks to ensure work areas are clean and free of safety hazards, working cooperatively with other employees to accomplish warehouse goals, and following all safety rules and regulations when completing job responsibilities. Additional duties are assigned by the Warehouse Lead. Skills/Abilities level 1 include the ability to communicate with others, perform basic mathematic calculations, understand customer's expectations, understand and follow written procedures, being self-motivated, troubleshooting/problem solving, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure. Working conditions include primarily warehouse work, minimal manufacturing environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
