Physical Therapist Join our dynamic team as a Physical Therapist and make a meaningful impact within a unique correctional healthcare environment. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with diverse physical impairments, injuries, and mobility challenges, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life. Working collaboratively with correctional officers and healthcare professionals, you will deliver essential care in a secure setting, contributing to the well-being of a diverse patient population with complex medical needs. Required Skills: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from an accredited program in ArizonaCurrent, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in ArizonaActive BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesCompassionate, attentive, and culturally sensitive interaction with patientsKnowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and guidelinesAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standardsPhysical capability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks such as CPRNice to Have Skills: Experience working in correctional or similar secure environmentsFamiliarity with mental health or substance abuse patient populationsAdditional certifications in specialized therapy techniquesBilingual abilities or multilingual skillsPreferred Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical TherapistPrior experience working with diverse or underserved populationsKnowledge of current research and advancements in physical therapyOther Requirements: Ability to work day shifts, Monday through FridaySuccessful completion of a criminal background check and drug screeningWillingness to work in a controlled, secure environment with adherence to strict safety protocolsThis is an excellent opportunity to advance your career while making a difference in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
