Warehouse Worker We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker for the first shift. This role involves various responsibilities over time, including picking, packing, processing, and receiving products. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our brand-new, climate-controlled facility. Responsibilities: In the first 30 days, you will focus on picking tasks, which include grabbing pick tickets, locating correct bins, counting and verifying products, and bringing them to the packing department. Once trained, you will be expected to pick 50+ orders a week. By 60 days, you will be involved in packing, reverifying picked orders, counting products, packaging, printing, and attaching labels to boxes before sending them to the shipping department. At 90 days, responsibilities expand to processing and receiving, sending out packages to customers, and receiving parts to be put away in the correct bins in the warehouse. Undergo a 4-hour forklift training in your first week and expect to operate the forklift for half of the day once trained. Essential Skills: 6 months to 1 year of experience in picking, packing, and warehouse operations. Experience with shipping and receiving processes. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Order picking, material handling, pallet jack operation. Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory count. Why Work Here? Work Environment: The work environment is a brand-new, climate-controlled facility that operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There are opportunities for overtime, with the potential to work up to 50 hours a week, depending on demand. Please note that while the work is manual, the facility is committed to providing necessary training and equipment for efficiency. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
