Job Description

Warehouse Operations Supervisor The position will oversee and participate in the warehouse operations, sorting, wrapping, and organization process, and ensures processes and communications are aligned to meet and exceed client requirements. Directs the development of all warehouse personnel and operations, as well as contracted delivery partners to support the client relationship. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with a cross dock business model. Must have warehouse/retail stock room/distribution environment experience. Superior customer service skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Lift 80-100 lbs. Bending, lifting, standing for long periods of time. Scanning with handheld scanner. Bilingual Spanish/English. Responsibilities: Inbound/outbound/scanning process. Personally check in all merchandise received prior to the sorting process. Import shipment information processing to avoid inventory issues. Timely customs process and related transport coordination. Effective communication and clear visibility on shipment progression and/or delays. Solution development and execution of shipment recovery to preserve original service expectation. Develop; maintain partnerships w/ delivery carriers/forwarders to meet evolving business needs. Process development and management for import/export processing, including but not limited to information management, inventory, compliance. Assist immediate manager/supervisor and team in daily import operations. Track & trace inventory; related status/data visibility. Support & coordination with the manager and delivery team, carriers; internal businesses. Coordinate with management, peers, and other internal/external cross functional teams to uncover operational opportunities and develop corresponding processes/solutions. Physical delivery & corresponding tracking data visibility. Lead and support the warehouse AM/PM operations via daily collaboration; proactive engagement w/ direct report; other related service providers. Develop positive organization/team culture. Foster team development; cross training. Support escalation & drive for timely resolution w/ corresponding parties. The expected starting pay range for this position is $18.83 - $25.10 per hour.
