Pay starting at $20/hr Andaz Miami Beach Resort and Spa is now recruiting PM Housekeeping Room/Turndown Attendants to join our team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Position Summary The PM Housekeeping/Turndown Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms turn-down service, stocking of supplies and follow up on any late departure room. The PM Housekeeping/Turndown Attendant will complete any combination of tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Demonstrates a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests and employees. Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions * Changing bed linen and making beds. * Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap etc. * Sweeping, mopping floors and vacuuming carpets. * Dusting and polishing furniture. * Emptying trash containers. * Greeting guests and responding to queries. * Updating status of guest rooms. * Cleaning of assigned areas of the hotel including the hallways, guest elevators and landings. * Provide turndown service to required guest rooms in accordance with established standards * Provide turn-down service by turning down the bed, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies * Assist Public Area Attendant in delivering guest requests * Required to refresh others and/or replenish supplies. * Serve as runner to guest rooms to deliver items as requested by the guests. * Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed. * Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe condition. * Report any service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve where possible. * Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion * Report any safety or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor. * Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
