Warehouse Forklift Operator

Warehouse Worker We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Worker for a long-term position in San Marcos, Central Texas. This role involves maintaining a rented warehouse for two significant projects expected to last approximately two years. The successful candidate will manage daily logistics, including the receipt and dispatch of materials, ensuring smooth operations and organization within the warehouse. Forklift Experience is required. Responsibilities Unload trucks using a dolly and/or pallet jack. Stock shelves with materials. Prepare items for pickup to be taken to the job sites. Manage an Excel-based inventory system for incoming and outgoing items. Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Proficient in using a dolly and pallet jack to lift items. Experience tracking inventory using a computer system. Computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with packing, picking, and packaging. Familiarity with RF scanners and material handling. Experience in loading, order picking, unloading, and shipping and receiving. Ability to use a scan gun. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, located in a small warehouse in San Marcos. While the warehouse will have people coming and going throughout the day, the employee will be the only full-time individual stationed on-site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Marcos, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
