Job Details Location: Columbus, OH (serving a territory within 60 miles of Dublin office) - Columbus hospice RN, travel nurse opportunity Contract Length: 8 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,900 - $2,100 Shift: Days, Friday-Monday, 8AM-8PM Shift Duration: 12-hour days Shifts per Week: 5 Hours per Week: 60 On Call: No Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Qualifications and Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience within the past 3 years (hospice RN, home hospice nurse, or palliative care experience preferred) Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR required; strong clinical documentation skills Ability to travel within a 60-mile radius from the Dublin office and provide home and facility visits Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate hospice care to patients and families in home and facility settings as a Hospice RN and travel nurse Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and deliver skilled nursing interventions focused on symptom management and comfort care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social workers, chaplains, and physicians to ensure coordinated, patient-centered end-of-life care Educate patients and families on symptom control, medication administration, and goals of care in a clear, supportive manner Document clinical care accurately and timely using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families throughout the hospice journey Why Join Our Healthcare Team This travel RN assignment in Columbus, OH offers a meaningful opportunity to practice hospice nursing in a supportive environment.
