Job Overview Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Warehouse Lead. This hands-on leadership role oversees staffing, production processes, and work therapy assignments within assigned commodities departments. You'll ensure operational excellence while supporting our rehabilitation program's mission through meaningful work experience. Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Status: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities Production Leadership Oversee staff and production processes in assigned departments Manage commodity evaluation and packing operations Ensure quality control for cleaning, pricing, and shipping prep Monitor and record production goals Maintain OSHA and TSA safety compliance Support efficient workflow processes Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA safety guidelines Ensure proper use of PPE equipment Monitor workplace safety conditions Report safety concerns promptly Maintain clean and organized environment Follow all TSA policies and procedures Administrative Duties Track production metrics Report incidents and concerns Maintain accurate records Communicate effectively with leadership Support departmental goals Monitor efficiency and quality Qualifications Required Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Combination of education and relevant experience Valid driver's license with TSA vehicle qualification Warehouse operations experience preferred Skills & Abilities Strong leadership capabilities Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office proficiency Problem-solving expertise Team management experience Basic computer literacy Strong Excel skills a plus Physical Requirements Regular lifting up to 50 pounds Extended standing and walking Frequent reaching and handling Clear vision and depth perception Ability to climb, balance, stoop Manual dexterity for operations What We Offer Leadership role in mission-driven organization Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Meaningful community impact Skills development focus Work Environment Warehouse/store setting Moderate to loud noise level Some temperature variation Active, dynamic atmosphere Team-oriented environment Safety-focused workplace The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
