As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. About the Caregiver Role: As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes. You will play a vital role in ensuring their well-being and comfort. This companionship andcaregiving position hasflexible schedulingwithafternoon shifts available. Clients typically receive 4 hours of care and at times, longer shifts may be available. Responsibilities:Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressingPrepare meals and assist with dietary needsRemind clients regarding their medicationProvide companionship and engage in meaningful conversationsAssist with light housekeeping and household tasksAccompany clients to appointments and errands Requirements:Preferred 1+ yrs caregiving and mechanical liftexperience butwe are willing to train you.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and manage time effectivelyCompassionate and empathetic natureValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check Benefits:Competitive wage of $15.00 - $18.00 per hourShift differential for working weekendsWeekly direct depositReferral programs and recognition bonusesMileage reimbursementOptional IRA with company matchOpportunities for ongoing training and development About the Company: Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne & Western Stark Counties is dedicated to providing high-quality in-home care services to individuals in need.
