If that sounds like what you're looking for, we hope you'll apply! What You'll Do: As the warehouse associate you will accurately and efficiently be packing orders and preparing them for delivery. Your Accountabilities in the Role: Picking and packing items from the cold storage areas to gather needed materials for shipments. Assembles orders of frozen and fresh foods based on customer orders to ensure accurate and in time deliveries. Labeling and palletizing boxes for safe shipping of materials. Confirms the count and quality of material and products being received or shipped to ensure integrity, inventory control, and overall customer satisfaction. Restocking inventory supplies to keep materials stocked for effective operations. Communicates discrepancies to appropriate employees and customers so that the issues can be resolved quickly. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Position Requirements: Education: High School diploma, or equivalent; will consider a combination of course work and direct work experience. Experience: 2+ years of experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Shipping, and inventory control related roles. Certifications: Forklift Certification and ability to operator a 22' box truck are a plus. Functional Skills: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good math skills with a strong sense of urgency required; strong ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects well; ability to problem-solve and execute solutions in a timely way is also key. Excellent follow through to ensure freight meets its destination on time. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and data systems required Language Skills: Good communication skills (written and verbal) to work with customers and internal team members at all various levels. Leadership/Behaviors: Self-directed and motivated to handle all tasks efficiently; Strong customer focus and requires someone who is responsive, flexible and can work well under pressure to meet the work demands and timelines as needed. Other Important Information:Pay/Salary: $18 per hour plus accuracy bonuses. Reports To: Fulfillment Supervisor Core Hours: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (Hours can be flexible as needed) Typical Work Week: Monday to Thursday; 34-38 hours/week (Few Fridays and Saturdays as needed) Direct Reports: 0 Work Conditions: Warehouse environment with occasional below-freezing temperatures.
