Material HandlerJob Status: Full TimeWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pmPosition Summary:This position receives incoming shipments and maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. Receives inventory into computer systemDrives forklift to stock and pull ordersOperate company vehiclesCreates labels and ships UPS packagesCovers front sales counter as neededHelps customersStocks inventoryShips out inventoryPulls orders for jobsCleans warehouseRead plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activitiesMeasure, mark or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: Basic Mechanical skills. Forklift experience preferred, receiving experience preferred, computer experience required, customer service experience required, warehouse experience preferred.Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skillsCertifications & Licenses: Valid Driver's License with an insurable driving recordPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds individually. Must be able to stand or walk for 9 hours per day. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, pick up. Must be able to drive a vehicle and a forklift.
