Details Inpatient Medical/Surgical unit (4B Surgical) within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedics, general medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling is generally not approved Epic EMR required No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments with complex and severe cases required Experience managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations required Epic EMR proficiency required Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Additional Information Facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center that handles complex, high-volume, and diverse trauma cases No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this assignment Local candidates are accepted for this position Required documents for consideration include: resume/work history, skills checklist matching the Med/Surg specialty, copies of certifications, and active license verification American Traveler Job ID P-689841.
