Reactor Operations Engineer - Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking a Reactor Operations Engineer to support the development, testing, and operation of next-generation energy systems. This role will focus on testing procedures, operational readiness, and coordination of complex engineering activities. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support system testing, console operations, and hardware integration efforts. Responsibilities Develop and execute system and reactor test procedures Coordinate testing activities across engineering teams Monitor instrumentation and system performance during testing Operate test consoles and support system diagnostics Assist with commissioning and operational readiness activities Maintain documentation for procedures and system operations Qualifications Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Experience with system testing or operations environments Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in fast-paced engineering environments Preferred Experience Nuclear or advanced energy systems Control room operations Systems integration and testing Compensation $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
