Forklift Operator

Franklin, IN Order: 2119091 Order Type : TempToFT We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Franklin and play a vital role in our production operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining the forklift to ensure the smooth supply of raw materials for production and the timely transfer of finished products for storage and delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the forklift safely and efficiently, following work instructions, visual management, and utilizing computer interfaces. Supply production operations with raw materials required for finished product manufacturing. Print and scan Bill of Lading for all finished goods using computer interfaces and RF scanners. Inspect finished goods for quality defects to maintain high product standards. Transfer finished goods to staging or storage areas as needed. Load finished goods onto trucks promptly to meet delivery requirements. Accurately complete all written logs and input data, including closing sequences on tickets and printing Bill of Lading. Ensure accurate inventory counts and promptly notify lead/supervisor of any discrepancies. Maintain effective communication with internal departments to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless operations. Remove/rework any damaged products on pallets to maintain quality standards. Keep work area clean and perform general housekeeping duties to uphold safety and cleanliness standards. Adhere to all HACCP, GMP, and Product Safety rules and guidelines.
