Reach Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks such as put-aways, loading, picking, staging, and assisting with rack teardowns and other ad hoc projects. The role is labor-intensive and involves case picking products from multiple pallets, handling weights ranging from 10lbs to 60lbs throughout an 8-hour shift. Proficiency in operating a Raymond stand-up forklift (Pacer) is essential. Responsibilities Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a Stand-Up Reach forklift. Operate Raymond Forklift effectively for various tasks. Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments. Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies and regulations. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation. Inspect each pallet and case for proper quantities, items, brands, and lot codes. Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management, and identify process improvements. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and participate in all assigned training programs, adhering to all guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to operate a Stand-up forklift (Reach). Meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to learn how to operate RF systems in a logistics environment. Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to cross-train for case picking when needed. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
