Payroll Manager

Century Group is in search of an experienced Payroll Manager to join a team in Denver. Qualified candidates with 7+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $125,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation to ensure compliance. Gather and process weekly timesheets and payroll requests for accurate payroll preparation. Review payroll adjustments to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Oversee payroll processing to ensure adherence to internal policies and state/federal regulations. Submit payroll, tax, and labor reports promptly and with accuracy. Requirements: Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills and ERP systems knowledge. Have at least 7+ years of experience in payroll management or related roles. Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration. Show adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to work independently while taking initiative. Qualifications: Stay informed on current state and federal wage and hour laws to ensure compliance. Administer garnishment processes efficiently, including child support, IRS levies, and state-imposed deductions. Design, review, and enforce payroll accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Supervise system updates and integrate changes within the payroll platform to ensure smooth operations. Serve as the key liaison between Payroll and Accounting departments for payroll-related functions.
