Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Staffing pool assignment supporting UNC Health Wayne Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 36 hours per week, working 3 x 12-hour shifts 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license with NC as the state of practice Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC CPI certification required Minimum of 2 years of recent Intermediate/Step Down nursing experience Minimum of 1 year of overall nursing experience Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program (BSN or MSN preferred) Additional Information Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and address complex patient needs Assesses and anticipates discharge planning needs for patients and families Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan Two professional references required for consideration American Traveler Job ID #P-685652.
