Production Operator

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Production Technician in St. Louis, MO. The role would be working for a major manufacturing company and has career growth potential. Production Technician Compensation • The pay for this position is $24.00 per hour • Duration: 5 months with possibility to extend • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Production Technician Highlights • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs • Location: Onsite in St. Louis, MO • Shift: 12-hour shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM • Physical Fit Test Required prior to start Production Technician Responsibilities • Set up bottling and production machines according to order specifications • Read and interpret computer-generated batch reports to prepare machines for production • Fill and label products according to order specifications and quality standards • Clean and sanitize equipment between production runs • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for handling and storing products • Apply HACCP procedures during daily operations • Follow plant safety, sanitation, and operational procedures • Pull product samples as required for quality testing and analysis • Assist Team Leaders and Production Supervisors with training new employees and performing competency reviews • Report any observed violations related to product safety, sanitation, or manufacturing standards Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to read and interpret production batch reports and instructions • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with handling heavier items such as 55-gallon drums • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitation procedures • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in manufacturing, food production, or bottling environments • Familiarity with GMP and HACCP procedures • Experience operating production or bottling equipment If you think this position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
