General Laborer / Material Handler We are hiring General Laborers and Material Handlers to support a large installation project inside a fast-paced large-scale distribution facility. These roles are essential to keeping the project running smoothly and involve hands-on work, material movement, and support for the mechanical installation team. Key Responsibilities Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility Use pallet jacks, carts, and basic equipment to transport inventory Assist technicians with basic mechanical tasks and project support Remove tape, debris, packaging, and maintain clean work areas Unload, sort, and distribute materials to designated locations Support assembly teams by delivering parts and supplies Follow all safety procedures and site regulations Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as needed Requirements Experience with hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable standing and walking for long periods Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Able to read a tape measure accurately Must bring a valid ID every day Bonus: warehouse, construction, or mechanical assembly experience Work Environment Climate-controlled warehouse Loud, fast-paced, and sometimes chaotic 10-hour shifts, MondayFriday (possible Saturday OT) 1-hour lunch break Why Work With Pac Group Opportunity to join Pac Group's nationwide travel team for long-term work Gain hands-on experience in a high-tech Amazon environment Additional Information Security: TSA-style screening; badge issued on Day 1 Attendance: Zero-tolerance for missed days or schedule changes Attire: No hoodies, leggings, baggy clothes, tank tops, shorts, ripped clothing, or profanity PPE: Vest, goggles, hard hat, steel-toe/composite boots, earplugs Restrictions: No weapons, metal utensils; clear backpacks recommended Cell Phones: Only in designated areas with supervisor approval This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA.
