Title; Psychiatrist - Region 6 Location; Northfield, OH 44067 Duration; 3 Months to long term Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AMJob responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and psychological conditions through clinical assessments, psychotherapy, and medication management. Conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, administer and interpret psychological tests, and develop treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, suicidal ideation, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal challenges. Perform risk assessments, including suicide risk evaluations, and implement crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies. Conduct forensic psychological evaluations, assess competency and mental status, prepare reports, and provide expert testimony when required. Coordinate mental health services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support program development. Provide psycho-educational programs and specialized therapeutic interventions, including aggression management and coping skills training. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress reports, and treatment summaries while ensuring quality of care and compliance with professional standards.
