Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing and industrial organization, is seeking a Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift Location: HIGHLAND, NY Pay Range: $18-21/hr (Based on Experience) Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM What's the Job? Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery paperwork Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or incorrect items and report discrepancies to the appropriate department Accurately enter received items into the inventory system or receiving log Label and store materials in the correct warehouse locations according to company procedures Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, WAV, Cherry Picker, and Forklifts (when certified) What's Needed? Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations Experience with inventory management and material handling responsibilities Ability to work on feet for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Reliable transportation to Highland, NY What's in it for me?
