CDL A Truck Driver - Daily Home Time

Job Description: What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO: Minimum qualifications: Be at least 21 years old Valid Class A commercial driver's license Safe driving record and history Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment Successful completion of a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical Availability for a flexible schedule up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts Preferred qualifications: Experience operating a forklift Currently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements About the Truck Driver Job: Pay, benefits, and more: Home daily Experienced drivers can start at $35.24/hour Comprehensive health insurance benefits from day one Life and disability insurance Earn up to 13 days of PTO in your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) plan with company match Education assistance This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position What you'll do on a typical day: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Deliver exceptional service to customers and generate sales leads Load and unload freight Truck Drivers are required to: Lift various objects frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs. Safely climb in and out of the tractor cab and trailer Remain seated for extended periods while driving or operating a forklift Walk and stand for extended durations on uneven or slippery surfaces Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in varied weather conditions Don't have your CDL-A yet?
