If interested in this Material Handler - Forklift position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | | text 5867107970 MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Sparks Glencoe MD 21152 – 100% On-site Payrate: $18.55/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Material Handler will safely and accurately handle the distribution of products by picking, packing, and labeling customer orders within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Operators are responsible for operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy through RF scanning technology, and ensuring all facility safety and documentation standards are strictly followed. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES: Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders by picking, packing, and labeling boxes using RF (Radio Frequency) scanning technology. Pallet Management: Build, scan, and shrink-wrap pallets for shipment; utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to transport goods safely. Logistics Support: Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all loading/unloading follows safety protocols to prevent product damage. Documentation: Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain accurate inventory records. Equipment Operation: Maintain safety certifications and operate equipment (Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, etc.) in a responsible manner. MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Ability to obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification per facility guidelines. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced distribution environment or operating MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Slip/Clamp) is a plus. Take the Next Step!
