Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic and growing team at a production facility that specializes in building and shipping heavy equipment machinery for railroads. As a Warehouse Associate, you will work with a small team of 2-3 people on the warehouse side, contributing to efficient operations and ensuring timely shipments.Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently. Inspect, count, and receive shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for. Assemble small parts weighing up to 50 lbs as needed. Perform cycle counting and maintain inventory control. Order supplies and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Essential Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics. Proficiency in material handling, shipping, and receiving. Strong skills in inventory control and order picking. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Comfortable using hand tools for assembly tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in warehousing/logistics roles. Experience with inventory and cycle counting. Basic computer literacy to manage inventory systems. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers a day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements to stay until 5:00pm to ensure shipments are completed. The team takes turns staying late as needed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
