2nd Shift Assembler

Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler - Aerospace Department Job Description Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Assembler in the Aerospace division, where you will be instrumental in manufacturing, testing, and inspecting aluminum heat pipes. This role operates from Monday to Friday, 7am-4:30pm, with every other Friday off. This position will train on 1st shift until July and then switch to 2nd shift. Responsibilities Assist machine operators by selecting the correct program and starting the machine. Oversee the saw operation process to ensure aluminum pipes are cut to meet exact specifications. Receive training on the bending process of aluminum. Handle and clean aluminum pipes thoroughly according to precise specifications, ensuring care due to the high expense of these products. Perform testing and inspections, including leak testing. Engage in sanding and polishing duties at a sanding station, focusing on aluminum heat pipes. Essential Skills Strong cultural fit with good soft skills. Stable work tenure with no frequent job changes. High attention to detail and experience with small parts assembly or machining. Experience in a machine shop is advantageous. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in brazing, inspection, soldering, assembly, and machine operation. GED or high school diploma. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
